Duke Rape Case: Indictments Near?

From CBS news:

The lawyer representing the captain of the Duke University Lacrosse team thinks there could be indictments in woman's allegations she was raped.
The article contains more claims that the prosecutor is pursuing this case only because he's up for reelection. I find it interesting how those allegations are coming from people who have their own agendas -- which seem to include opposing thorough investigations of cases like this.

From ABC news:
... the college student and mother of two feels her accusations are not being taken seriously because of her job. She works as an exotic dancer.

She's absolutely right that many people aren't taking her allegations seriously, either because she's perceived to be a person without morals or she's perceived as a person without the right to say no when men decide they want to use her.

It's interesting that those who hired her are considered by many to be of higher moral character. I don't buy it for a second. She at least had an excuse (economic necessity) while those who hired her were in it for the thrills alone.
