Repeat Offender Apologizes for Kelly McGillis Rape, but ...

... according to ABC News:
Leroy Johnson, 39, issued a statement through his lawyer after Monday's verdict denying his guilt, and blaming news coverage of the case on his past victimization of the "Top Gun" actress.
So he apologizes for one rape (because he was young and made a mistake) and then blames the later success of that victim for his conviction on additional rape charges. On the sincerity meter, I'd give him a minus 10.

Because of men like this who have no credibility yet continue to proclaim their innocence, I don't take denials as anything I can rely on.

Yeah, I'm surprised we didn't hear the old cliche, "Boys will be boys." on this one! Give me a break!
