Blog Against Sexual Violence Day Participant Links (Live Blogging)
Since some participants live in parts of the world where April 3, 2008 (A Day To End Sexual Violence part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month) arrives before it does in the US, I'm opening this post for participant links now.
If you are just finding out about this effort, I encourage you to join in. If you are coming in late and don't read this until it is after April 3 where you are, please join in anyway. The raising of awareness is more important than the exact date. Please encourage your blog readers to join in as well.
Let's make more noise than those who are dedicated to denying the full reality of sexual violence.
Update: The noise you make doesn't have to be elaborate or brilliantly written. Sometimes just having numerous people say, "Stop it already!" to those who blame victims or who deny most acts of sexual violence is all the brilliance we need. This effort is about heart and caring not wordsmithing.
Please remember to put a link to the Blog Against Sexual Violence Day announcement in your post (you can do so by copying the code on the announcement page which will place the BASV logo on your blog) so I have a way of finding your post.
If you choose to put BASV in your post title that will also make you easier to find in blog searches for participants.
You are also welcome to post a comment with a link to your BASV post.
So who's on first? (Note that the order of the links is based on when I identified them as part of this effort not necessarily when they were written so that new additions will be easy to identify.)
