This electronic report contains text summaries, audio recordings, and videos from MNCASA’s Minnesota Summit to Prevent Sexual Violence held in St. Paul, December 3-4, 2009. This report is designed not only to bring you an experience of The Minnesota Summit, but also to provide ideas and resources for leading prevention initiatives in your spheres of influence (see Resources and Tools).This e-report is such a wonderful resource and highlights a groundbreaking approach to the primary prevention of sexual violence.

True prevention is possible and is so much better than focusing on the actions of potential victims. We must remember that the problem is not the so-called risky behavior of victims or potential victims. The problem is the behavior and thinking of those who commit sexual violence or who are at risk of committing sexual violence.
